In Division 1 of the National Football League, Armagh continued their winning run by beating northern rivals Tyrone 2-14 to 0-14. Mayo meanwhile took a 2-10 to 1-11 victory offer Monaghan, and Donegal bested Kildare, 2-17 to 1-9.
In Division 2, Offaly fell to Derry on a scoreline of 2-13 to 0-7, as Roscommon finished four points ahead of Meath, ending 1-15 to 1-11.
Meanwhile, in Group A of Division 1 in the National Hurling League, Wexford took a nice win over reigning All-Ireland champions Limerick, finishing 1-11 to 0-11, while Offaly suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of Galway, ending 4-22 to 0-17.
In the division’s Group B, Kilkenny beat Antrim, 2-15 to 3-9, while a dramatic display in Parnell Park ended all square on 0-21 to 2-15 between Dublin and Waterford.

Harvey Elliott scored on his return from injury to seal Liverpool’s place in the fifth round of the FA Cup this afternoon.
They beat Cardiff City 3-1 at Anfield thanks to second-half goals from Diogo Jota, Minamino and Elliott.
Elsewhere, Nottingham Forest saw off Leicester City 4-1, while Bournemouth face Boreham Wood at 6.30pm.

With the win they have gone four points clear at the top of the table, for a couple of hours at least as Rangers home game against Hearts kicked off at 4pm.

Six Nations favourites France have got their 2022 campaign off to a winning start against Italy.
Despite a good start from the visitors, France’s power was too much to hold off in the second half, ending 37-10 in Paris.
Golf
Leona Maguire has become the first Irish golfer to win on the LPGA Tour.
The 27-year-old from Ballyconnell in Co Cavan carded a five-under-par 67 in the final round of the 54-hole competition at the Crown Colony Golf and Country Club in Florida.
Maguire, playing in her 50th LPGA tournament, finished on 18 under par to win by three shots from Lexi Thompson.
Tweeting after the win, Maguire said: “Dreamt about this moment for a long time and we’re only getting started.
“Couldn’t have done it without the helped of my incredible team & family.”

Seamus Power let a five-shot halfway lead slip at the Pebble Beach Pro Am in California. A third round 74 saw him drop back into seventh place on 13 under.
Beau Hossler, Andrew Putnam and Tom Hoge share the lead on 15 under par.
