Charlie Nicholas gives us his prediction as Arsenal travel to CSKA Moscow in the Europa League.
The gunners have a major advantage in their games, but they run the risk of allowing them a 4-1 lead slip?
Here’s what the expert soccer Saturday says…
CSKA (1) – (4) Arsenal (Thursday, 8.05 PM)
CSKA is in a Monday game, so they pressured a little bit, while Arsene Wenger has retained many of its best players fresh.
I was very surprised with the amount of changes he made at the weekend, but it clearly shows that Wenger is serious – not that he has much of an option with the top-four race done and dusted.
I never trust this defense and have no idea who is the best defensive partnerships, but Arsenal should be enough to get the job done.
Then hopefully they will avoid Atletico in the semifinals. In any case, they have to show character to the end of the season and to build momentum because the trust is not a tap you can just turn on and off.
Charlie predicts: 2-2 and Ramsey to score first (70/1 with sky bet)
