Ian Wright doubts that Jose Mourinho is the right Manager for Paul Pogba
After two seasons of “Manchester United”, Ian Wright doubted that Jose Mourinho is the right Manager to get the best out of Paul Pogba.
The Frenchman returned to old Trafford in the summer of 2016, but not to hit the same heights he achieved at Juventus, who convinced Mourinho and the United hierarchy to part with the then-world record fee in the amount of 89.3 M.
Recent media reports suggested that the Portuguese coach is willing to give Pogba will be sold, and when asked at the debate if Mourinho was the right man to get the best from the midfielder, Wright said: “up to this point, You can’t say that he is.
“It’s interesting to see how it will turn out well for him. Personally, I would push him on to the field simply because he has the ability to do things, not on the back, it is possible to spray it to the side.
“You have to get it in the places where it may then activate such people as Alexis Sanchez, Jesse Lingard, Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford, so he could get them and the spring moves off of them.
“Nobody can tell me with the offensive players, midfielder “Manchester United” got what they need to be closer [to man city] now. I think man city got them and they hit the blocks.
“We are approaching the end of the season and Pogba has still not found his feet properly, we haven’t seen that dominant of them yet, but I think MJ is large the kernel is exactly what you need to fight, I just think it’s how they play.

“I love Jose, but it seems to me that the players do not hesitate to go and dominate teams with forwards they can put on the field. I don’t see them enough to play on a regular basis, where they scare teams to death”.
Stuart Pearce has also spoken about the fight for Pogba in the organization, but believes the midfielder leave old Trafford as he is still an outstanding talent.
“I don’t think they would have sold him because he’s such a big talent and it’s so rare to find such first-class players standing at Pogba. I still think there is better to come from him when he grows up”, he added.
“He’s still relatively young, although he has a vast experience and it is about identifying what the best position for him. I think it needs to be galloping forward, getting into the box and setting a goal 15 goals per season.
“Manchester United will know him better than any of us, and in the main, you need talent to stay in the club. I can’t see them putting it up for sale, because if you put it on sale and it is in this country, he is lining up against you next Saturday, and You don’t want it.”
