Ger Brennan appointed as new Dublin Football Team Manager

Ger Brennan has been appointed as the new head coach of Dublin's senior football team.

Brennan replaces Dessie Farrell, who stepped down after taking charge in 2020.

The former Dublin man took over after winning the Leinster Football Championship in Louth and also reached two finals during his time in charge.

As a player, Brennan won the Irish Championship twice, in 2011 and 2013.

Dublin County Council leader Ken O'Sullivan congratulated Ger on his new role, saying:

“Ger has achieved the highest level of success as a Dublin player and we fully support him as he strives to lead the Dublin Senior Football Commission and achieve further titles in the coming years.

“We wish Ger, his team and the jury all the best and look forward to the 2026 season.”

The composition of the management and support team of Hera will be announced in due course.
