Former Liverpool winger and now Milan star, Suso, has revealed he turned down an approach from City rivals Inter in the summer. “Over the summer, Inter did make me an offer. Napoli midfielder Allan is in talks over a new contract. The Brazilian has attracted interest from Premier League sides in the past but agent, Claudio Vagheggi, says the midfielder is settled in Naples and doesn’t believe there will be “any problems” over extending his deal. (Radio CRC)

Bayern Munich have sounded out Freiburg coach Christian Streich over succeeding Jupp Heynckes. The club would ideally like the 72-year-old to continue beyond the end of the current campaign but are assessing their options if Heynckes does return to retirement. (Bild)

Liverpool have spoken to Napoli midfielder Jorginho’s representatives over a summer move to Anfield. The Brazilian-born Italian international has been key to the Partenopei’s title challenge this term but feels ready for a new challenge.
