“I had talks with Dermot and Michael in the summer and it went well and we'll take it from there,” he told Sky Sports News.
“The club will either offer me a contract or they won't. Either way, as long as it's my last day here, I'll give it my best shot and it won't affect anything. I'm fully committed, fully focused on helping us have a really good season.”
“As a Celtic player I have really enjoyed my time here. I have loved the support and everything I have received since I came back but there have been challenges too.

“My main desire is to help the club move forward. I'm not the kind of manager who just holds things back, I'm not the kind of person who's needed.”
“I need to build, I need to work with the players, develop individual players.
“If the club feels that this is what it needs, then I am almost sure that we will come to an agreement, and if not, then we will give everything to the very end.”
