Colorado springs (Satellite) – space should be considered as an example of how Russia and the United States have to cooperate and trust each other to achieve cooperative outcomes when looking at the broad scope of bilateral relations, Sergei Krikalev, Executive Director of the manned spaceflight programs of the Russian space Agency, the official said.
“What is happening at the political level and what is being done in space are two different things. We continue to work as always. It will be a good motive to restore the relationship in other areas. Space should become an example for other areas, as people need to work together, to trust each other to achieve cooperative outcomes,” said Krikalev.
He noted that there are no problems in working with US in the field of space exploration.
“We have an excellent cooperation mechanism. We were very efficient working together, and we must continue to do what we do,” said Krikalev, asked what to do to maintain a good and successful us-Russian cooperation in the space sector amid the tense and deteriorating relations between the two countries.

Russia categorically denied all accusations of involvement in the poisoning Skripal and said they sent 60 American diplomats and the closure of the U.S. Consulate General in St. Petersburg.
