The civil war that has been raging for more than seven years, has forced many Syrians to invent things that help them in their daily lives.

The young engineer Asaad Haddad is one of those who have succeeded in this endeavor to help many of their compatriots to survive the trials and tribulations of bloody conflicts.

A long list of electrical instruments and appliances Haddad had in his hand involves no less than the electromagnetic gun.

“I would like to build a gun since I was in school. I tried to do this during my University years, but it wasn’t until now that I finally managed to pull out,” said Haddad.

He added that he recently learned of such things used in Russia and America.

“Now I want to make a speargun, put it together from scratch in my workshop,” Haddad said.

Asaad Haddad began inventing at an early age. As six-year-old boy, as he worked under the guidance of his father’s eyes, took a rechargeable lamp.

His father fixed appliances and little Asaad for hours watching him work.

“I would like to know how things work, and I always tried to do something myself, make my own decisions,” said Haddad.

He said that when the war broke out and they had outages several times a day, all the things he did, was the battery.

“That’s when I invented the induction hob is running on battery. They have similar things in China, but it was completely my design,” said Haddad.
