Dorofeeva spoke about the hate after her divorce from Dantes and the publication of her relationship with Misha Katsurin

Ukrainian singer Nadia Dorofeeva graced the first digital covers of the updated Cosmopolitan magazine. During the photo shoot, the star of the stage gave an interview in which she spoke about the hate she experienced, informs Ukr.Media.

According to the celebrity, she received the most negative comments due to changes in her personal life. In 2022, Dorofeeva announced her divorce from presenter and singer Vladimir Dantes, and a year later she married entrepreneur Mikhail Katsurin.
Nadia compared suffering from criticism to a psychological illness. The artist only now realized how difficult it was for her to endure the hate after the news of her new novel.

“And the topic of hate is very acute and difficult for every Ukrainian. And when you face this — and in my case, the huge hate was due to personal reasons — it seems like a huge black hole appears inside you that prevents you from existing normally. I would compare suffering from hate to a serious mental illness. I think that very soon psychologists and scientists will tell us that such an illness really exists and will give it an official name.

“Time has passed, I went through it, but only now do I understand how difficult it was. This period gave me an understanding: if you want there to be no hate, you just need to do nothing, hide and sit silently. And this is not my choice. Moreover, I understand that this is not the last such story in my life, but now I know what to do with it. To understand my attitude towards hate now, you need to listen to my song “Let them write”,” she shared.

Dorofeeva also talked about how she and Katsurin react to hate at this stage of their lives, and admitted whether criticism affects their romantic relationship. The singer added that she has started blocking followers who criticize her, although she has never done this in her more than 10-year career in show business.

“There are some isolated comments left, you can find a couple of comments on TikTok. Now I perceive all this absolutely normally. And I'm also very happy about the huge support there is. After talking to different people, I realized that everyone is written something bad. Even the most famous volunteers in the country. And I felt better. Do you know what the most useful advice the guys Lachen and Misha Lebiga gave me? Block haters! I haven't done this before, but now is definitely not the time to pay attention to stupid insults and take them to heart,” she said.
