Famous Ukrainian presenter, photographer and travel blogger Dmitry Komarov has commented for the first time on rumors about his breakup with model and presenter Oleksandra Kucherenko. On his Facebook page, the 41-year-old star of the program “The World Inside Out” confirmed the information that he is divorcing the 27-year-old winner of the title “Miss Ukraine-2016”, informs Ukr.Media.
Dmitry wrote that he did not plan to make any public statements about his personal life, but there was a lot of gossip in the media about his relationship with Alexandra. Komarov noted that only out of respect for his fans did he decide to release this publication and tell the whole truth about the breakup with Kucherenko after almost five years of marriage. In particular, Komarov declassified that he is still in the process of divorce, and the lawsuit, which was filed in January, remained without consideration.

In general, our divorce is an exclusively internal matter of our family. We really did not want to bring this topic up for public discussion. But, of course, we see the information space. And, unfortunately, a huge amount of, to put it mildly, dubious information without verification in the original source. But it seems to be insider information in the style of “a friend of a friend said that his friend heard from a friend.” I will not even comment on the level of such “journalism.”
For example, the infopole states as a fact: we have already divorced through the court. Reality: we filed a joint application for divorce through the registry office and are divorcing peacefully and civilly. The emotional lawsuit remained without consideration.
And in general, the question is: is it true that in our time, on the scale of Ukrainian issues, the private lives of two people are really so important? The question is rhetorical. I am sure it is not. But our viewers are confused by this info-wave.
“So, out of respect for the viewers, we will comment on something personal. And only this can be considered reliable information,” he began his post.
Dmitry then denied rumors that the reason for the breakup was betrayal and deception. The presenter noted that he and Alexandra, as before, are in excellent relations, but now they are friendly, not family. At the same time, he hinted that he and Kucherenko decided to divorce after “serious misunderstandings.”
“Yes, we are getting divorced. No, no one cheated on anyone. No one cheated on anyone. No one went to another. We are parting ways with respect for each other. This is a decision between two adults.”
And everything that was in our life together remains only ours, between the two of us. Behind the closed doors of the family that we failed to preserve. But we remain friends, we do not stop communicating, everything is fine with our human relationships. It's just that now they are not family.
