Since the start of the full-scale war, Denmark has provided a total of €10.1 billion in aid to Ukraine, €9.1 billion of which is military aid. This amount is almost 2.9% of Denmark's GDP and is the first in the world, ahead of even the Baltic countries, according to the Kiel Institute for the World Economy.

In 2024, Denmark was the first to start directly investing in weapons production by Ukrainian military-industrial complex companies. In honor of the country, this initiative is called “Danish”. The amount of investments for 2024-2027 is almost $570 million.

This year, a rocket fuel production plant in the Danish province of South Jutland is being built by the Ukrainian company Fire Point, a manufacturer of FPV drones and Flamingo cruise missiles.

What are Denmark's investment and defense priorities in Ukraine and when might the Fire Point plant start operating? Forbes Ukraine spoke to Danish Industry Minister Morten Bødskov about this during his two-day visit to Kyiv.
