Valentina Ginzburg, who led the Health Department of the Kyiv municipal administration, is departing from her post. LB.ua communicates news of her removal, referencing their own informants.
As indicated, Ginzburg herself tendered a letter of resignation, which was promptly authorized by Vitaliy Klitschko, the leader of the Kyiv City State Administration.
Based on information from the city administration, the paperwork for the departure was delivered in September. In October, the official ceased making appearances at communal functions with Klitschko, notably absenting herself from the re-opening of a restored medical center, in addition to not being present at a session held by the related committee of the Kyiv City Council.
Valentina Ginzburg had been at the helm of the city's health division from 2017 onward. Preceding her assignment to the Kyiv City State Administration, she was employed at the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, where she directed an analogous section.
Conventionally, the health organization in the Kyiv City State Administration was under the command of the first vice mayor, Mykola Povoroznyk. As per ZN.UA sources, Klitschko put forward a proposition to the Cabinet of Ministers and President Volodymyr Zelensky for endorsement of Povoroznyk's termination.
