“Key decisions concern strengthening support for internally displaced persons who have left frontline communities and areas where hostilities are taking place,” she said.
Among the decisions taken by the government is support for the employment of IDPs. In particular, the Cabinet of Ministers will provide an additional one-time payment of UAH 2,000 in addition to housing assistance to internally displaced persons who have worked continuously for a six-month period.

Also among the priority tasks is firewood for the winter for the displaced.
IDPs from among the recipients of benefits or housing subsidies throughout Ukraine who have not received funds from international organizations, in particular in frontline areas, will be able to purchase solid fuel for the winter. The average amount of payments will reach 8 thousand UAH. 32,000 households will be able to count on additional support. The PFU will make payments after the completion of payments by international organizations in November-December.
Another direction is the arrangement of housing for temporary residence of IDPs. It was decided to allocate UAH 1 billion in subventions so that local governments can build, restore, and re-equip housing. An important condition is that all housing must be adapted for people with limited mobility.

In addition, after evacuation, people will be able to receive additional medical advice immediately at the place of temporary residence of IDPs. This opportunity will help stabilize the health of people who were forced to leave due to hostilities. If necessary, they can undergo treatment in a medical facility within 30 days.
An equally important social service is accommodation for IDPs from the category of low-mobility citizens. The service provider who accepts IDPs from among low-mobility groups not only provides a bed in a place of temporary residence, but also provides assistance with daily life.
The service is provided with co-financing from the state and budgets of territorial communities from which citizens were evacuated.
Treatment is also provided for Ukrainian civilians released from Russian imprisonment. From now on, treatment at the sanatorium can be carried out if desired, accompanied by one person – a family member or accompanying person.

Also important news is that it will be easier to get a sports prosthesis.
“You no longer need to be a member of a sports organization or go to competitions included in state or regional calendar plans. From now on, veterans will be able to receive a sports prosthesis without additional certificates, both for participation in competitions and for training or personal rehabilitation,” the prime minister notes.
“Despite the fighting, life must go on. These are our people and our business, which we must protect and support,” Yulia Svyrydenko points out.
We remind you that the government will continue the program of providing free liquefied gas for residents of frontline regions.
