Many people have a bad habit: to overexert themselves before important events, setting themselves up for a deliberately negative outcome. Some do this out of a banal superstition: one should hope for the best and prepare for the worst. But there is a more effective technique in psychology, informs Ukr.Media.
An affirmation is a short, positive phrase aimed at developing a positive habit or attitude. It is a method of self-suggestion that helps you literally “program” yourself for success.
“Achieving the maximum”
This is the name of Brian Tracy's book, which gave answers to a lot of questions. The author's story turned out to be surprisingly similar to the story of many people: childhood in a family where the daily attitude was the phrase: “we don't have the money for this.”
Up to a certain age, every child sincerely believes in the words of their parents. And by the time they start to doubt something, the attitudes are firmly embedded in the subconscious. Don't be lazy to read the book, we highly recommend it.
The magic of affirmations
You don't have to believe in them. Try the experiment yourself. Choose any affirmation that you like the most and say it several times a day for a month. And at the same time, write down what happens.
One man liked to repeat the affirmation: “I believe that something wonderful will happen to me today.” For several years, he started his morning with it. And it always worked. Now he can't even remember the last time his day consisted of only mundane events. He says that the number of amazing things happening around him is simply overwhelming.
Why it works
Even if your parents have instilled in you attitudes towards poverty and failure since childhood, affirmations can trigger the reverse process: tune your consciousness to positivity, self-confidence, and success. Repeatedly repeating a phrase full of life turns into a habit. A desire to follow and respond to it develops. What initially seems inaccessible gradually becomes the norm.
When writing personal affirmations, you cannot use the words “I want, I dream, etc.” Only 100% real-time affirmations: “I always get what I need.”
Writing your own setup is not that easy, so we recommend using ready-made and tested ones to start. They are easy to find online.
We really want to believe that this publication will bring witchcraft into your life. And you will use the magic of affirmations as a daily tool for self-improvement, developing leadership qualities, and nurturing a strong personality.
