Next Nwaneri? Douman impresses again.

Sam Blitz from Sky Sports:

In Arsenal's friendly against Villarreal on Wednesday, 15-year-old Max Douman once again confirmed his status as one of the most talented teenagers in the game.

As he had against Newcastle in Singapore, the youngster came off the bench and showed the fearlessness of a player twice his age. As he had against Newcastle, he again produced a superb solo run that caught the attention of the Villarreal defenders, who were forced to bring him down for a penalty.

Douman's hard work is demonstrated by the fact that in the game against Villarreal he attempted four times as many dribbles as Bukayo Saka, but used only a third of the time.

“He certainly continues to impress. His impact on the game, the efficiency with which he operates in every attack, is incredible,” said Mikel Arteta.

“Again, he deserves a chance and if he keeps going like this, we'll see what happens.”
