As President Donald Trump provides additional insights into his association with Jeffrey Epstein, it raises fresh inquiries regarding his awareness of the late financier and convicted sex offender’s activities.
The president continues to encounter criticism and scrutiny regarding his administration’s management of documents associated with Epstein, who took his own life in 2019 while awaiting trial on allegations of sex trafficking underage girls.
Trump has stated that he has been acquainted with Epstein since the late 1980s, but they eventually had a falling out and had not communicated for 15 years at the point of Epstein’s arrest in 2019.

2000:
Court documents from Virginia Giuffre’s defamation case against Maxwell reveal that Giuffre worked at Mar-A-Lago Club LLC in 2000, earning $1,866.50 that year. The exact duration and dates of her employment at Trump’s club were disputed when the lawsuit concluded in 2017. Giuffre claimed that Maxwell recruited her while she was employed as a locker-room attendant at Mar-A-Lago in 2000 and took her to Epstein’s residence for a massage. She alleges that she subsequently became a “teen sex slave” to Epstein and a victim of sex trafficking starting at the age of 17, involving both Epstein and Maxwell. Maxwell has denied these allegations.
