In Poland, the most frequently searched destinations on Google this year's holiday season are Spain, Italy, and Greece, according to data provided by Google. The number of searches for all-inclusive trips has increased over the year, the release added.

Google search analysis shows that this year, foreign trips have outpaced holidays in Poland, accounting for 51% of all searches , while domestic trips account for less than 49%. The authors of the publication reminded that in 2024, the proportions were 52% for domestic holidays and 48% for holidays abroad.

“In previous years, this trend continued – in 2023, 53% of queries concerned trips within Poland and 47% abroad, while in 2022 this percentage was 55% vs. 45%. During the pandemic years (2020–2021), when tourist traffic was limited, over 60% of searches concerned local destinations,” emphasized Jacek Bisiński, Travel Analytical Consultant at Google, quoted in the information.

According to the report, the most searched destinations for this year's holiday season are Spain, Italy, and Greece . This year, Spain climbed to the top of the popularity rankings, overtaking the previous leader, Italy, which was the most popular destination in 2024. Also among the top 10 most searched destinations were Turkey, Croatia, the United States, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and the Czech Republic.

The most frequently searched cities to visit were Barcelona, Rome, and Paris – just like last year. Next in line were London, Prague, Berlin, Venice, and Dubai (making their first appearance on the list), Hurghada, and Vienna (New York City was in 10th place last year).

The United States, like the year of Remuh, was the most frequently searched destination for distant and exotic travel. It was followed by the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Japan, Canada, Indonesia, Australia, French Polynesia, Mexico, and China. Poles also frequently searched for destinations like Zanzibar and the Maldives.

According to the data provided, the popularity of all-inclusive vacations has increased significantly this year. In June of this year, searches for this phrase increased by 35% year-on-year, with Poles most frequently searching for such offers in Greece, Croatia, and Turkey. Last-minute travel inquiries are also very popular.

According to the publication, Turkey, Egypt, and Greece lead the ranking of the most popular countries for last-minute travel, followed by Spain, Croatia, Albania, Tunisia, Bulgaria, and Italy. In the island and region category, Madeira, Zanzibar, Tenerife, Sardinia, and the Canary Islands are the most popular. Next in line are the Greek islands of Crete, Zakynthos, Corfu, and Rhodes, and one Italian island, Sicily.
