Rapper Yung Philly faces two new sexual assault charges

British rapper Yung Philly has been charged with sexually assaulting a woman while on tour in Australia.

The internet celebrity, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, appeared in Perth District Court on Friday.

In March, he pleaded not guilty to three counts of assault causing harm, one count of strangulation and four counts of sexual penetration without consent.

Court documents filed Friday confirmed he was charged with two new counts of sexual penetration without consent.

There was no comment on the two new charges.

His case is scheduled for a 10-day trial, which will begin on July 20, 2026.

The social media star is on bail from October 2024 after he was accused of sexually assaulting a 20-year-old woman in his hotel room following a performance in the Perth beachside suburb of Hillarys a month earlier.

At his first court hearing in October, Barrientos was granted bail on strict conditions and a personal recognizance of A$100,000 and a surety of the same amount, the PA news agency reported.

Court documents show Barrientos pleaded guilty to reckless driving on Dec. 5.

The internet star was spotted on the Rowe Freeway near the Perth suburb of High Wycombe on November 17 travelling at more than 96mph.

Barrientos has appeared on several BBC shows and gained fame through his collaboration with the YouTube collective Beta Squad.

The rapper, who has been touring Australia, represented England at Soccer Aid and The Great Celebrity Bake Off on Channel 4's Stand Up To Cancer.

His other shows included Hot Property on the BBC and Munya And Filly Get Chilly with comedian Munya Chavawa, a spin-off of Freeze The Fear With Wim Hof.

In 2021, he was awarded the Mobo Awards in the Best Media Personality category, along with fellow internet celebrity Chunkz, whose real name is Amin Mohamed.
