The study was carried out by the IBRiS Institute of Market and Social Research on behalf of the Res Futura Analytical Collective and SentiOne.

The results indicate that Poles trust YouTube the most. This was declared by 23% of respondents (I rather trust – 17%, I definitely trust – 6%). 42% answered that they are indifferent to the platform, and 20% expressed distrust (I rather do not trust – 11%, I definitely do not trust – 9%). 7% of respondents did not provide a clear answer, and 3% did not know the service. According to the authors of the study, the high level of trust in the platform and indifference towards it indicate its stable image and lack of serious controversies.

Poles trust TikTok the least. Lack of trust in the platform was expressed by 32% of respondents (definitely – 14%, rather – 18%). For 28%, the service remains indifferent. Trust in it was declared by 13% of respondents. TikTok is one of the platforms in which none of the respondents declared strong trust. 16% of respondents did not know TikTok, and 5% chose the answer “don't know/hard to say”.

The second platform with the least trust from Poles is Facebook . 31% of respondents do not trust it (rather – 23%, definitely – 8%). Neutral answers were also given by 31% of respondents. 22% trust it. In this case, no one declared a strong trust in the service either. 5% of respondents declared that they did not know the platform, and 6% answered “I do not know/it is hard to say”.

Instagram received the most neutral ratings. 36% of respondents indicated the answer “I am indifferent”. 20% do not trust the platform (rather – 11%, definitely – 9%), with trust at the level of 11% (rather – 7%, definitely – 4%). 19% of respondents did not know Instagram, and 6% were unable to give a clear answer.

The answer “I am indifferent” was given by 24%, and 26% of respondents declared that they were not familiar with the service. 5% chose the answer “I don’t know/hard to say”.

According to the ResFutura analyst, the high level of unrecognizability in the case of service X may be caused by its rebranding and change of identity (from Twitter).

The least recognizable service among respondents turned out to be Telegram . 58% of them indicated that they did not know it. 4% declared trust in this platform (rather – 3%, definitely – 1%). For 15% of respondents, this service is indifferent, and 11% expressed distrust in it (rather – 3%, definitely – 8%).

“The study also took into account the level of uncertainty and indecision. For most platforms, between 5% and 7% of respondents selected the answer “don't know / hard to say”, which indicates the presence of doubts or a lack of strong opinions,” the authors of the study emphasized.

The survey was conducted on April 28-29, 2025 on a nationwide representative sample of 1,000 adult residents of Poland using the CAWI online interview method. (PAP)
