A new player is making its debut on the market of financial services for companies – the domestic fintech .firm, operating in the Banking as a Service (BaaS) model in cooperation with Aion Bank. The offer includes, among others, an interest-bearing business account, a multi-currency card, a quick account opening process and access to financing up to PLN 600,000. A modern approach, a transparent fee schedule and convenient online service are to be the answer to the most common problems of Polish entrepreneurs.
A new player has appeared on the market of banking products for companies. The domestic fintech .firm is developing an offer of financial services for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the “BaaS” model, i.e. banking as a service. The provider of banking services for .firm customers is Aion Bank.
As the fintech company states in a press release, at the beginning, in the “light” version, the product portfolio includes, among others: an interest-bearing account for companies , a loan for business development , a consolidation loan and a multi-currency card with currency exchange at the interbank rate .

Business account in .firm
The business account is available in two variants. Monthly costs depend on the chosen subscription. In the Basic plan, use is free , while in the Premium plan the monthly fee is PLN 60. Fintech does not charge fees for opening, managing and closing the account.
The first and additional virtual debit card is free regardless of the package chosen by the customer. However, the second payment card issued to the company account is free in the Premium package. In the Basic variant, the monthly fee for the second card is PLN 20.
Another point in the fintech price list worth paying attention to is cash withdrawals from ATMs (domestic and abroad). Also in this case, the costs depend on the selected package and amount to: PLN 0 (Premium plan) and PLN 5 for each withdrawal (Basic plan). At the moment, .firm does not allow withdrawals in foreign currencies or at a bank branch.

In the table of fees and charges we will also read that in the case of deposits made at ATMs, additional ATM operator costs may occur, which do not depend on Aion Bank and may depend on the amount of the deposit and the fees of the ATM operator through which the deposit is made. The ATM operator costs will be charged to the Customer's account after the account is topped up or may reduce the amount of the deposit.
Interest on a business account
When analyzing the parameters of a business account, it is worth mentioning the interest rate. The information provided by .firm shows that depending on the selected option, the business account has the following interest rates with interest accrued every day:
- Basic plan – 1.75% ,
- Premium plan – 3.50%
The account provided by .firm is a tool adapted to conduct business banking, it has a split payment function, tax transfers, ZUS and bank statements in accounting formats (mt940). The account is maintained by Aion Bank, which has a license and supervision of the National Bank of Belgium, Aion offers the security of a European bank.
Additional offer for entrepreneurs
Fintech provides companies with leasing of machinery, equipment and devices. As part of a partnership with Vehis, the fintech also introduced a vehicle leasing service for people running a business. Entrepreneurs can also benefit from .firms' support in organizing financing for energy transformation or measuring their carbon footprint.
