Ukrainians banned from spending money from the National Cashback program to pay for mobile communication services

The list of allowed categories under the National Cashback program has been significantly reduced — it covers only basic expenses.

Now you can't spend money on mobile communications, transportation, insurance, and other services, the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine reports.

Money from the National Cashback card can be used for utility and postal services, products in stores and supermarkets, medicines and medical products, books and printed products, and for charity, in particular, donations to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

These conditions will last until June 30, 2026. The Ministry of Economy explained that the changes are related to the launch of the “Winter Support” program, under which Ukrainians will receive UAH 1,000 on the same National Cashback card. To ensure that both programs work correctly, the categories of expenses were unified and focused on the most necessary.
