While many Ukrainian pensioners receive underpaid pensions, recipients at PrivatBank may lose their payments altogether. However, this will happen through no fault of the bank.

According to the website “Na pensiyi”, the reason may be the blocking of the account due to personal data not being updated in time. This may happen due to another strengthening of financial monitoring during martial law.
To do this, you don't have to go to the bank in person. You can do everything remotely via the Internet in two stages:
1) open the “Privat24” application or go to the website privat24.ua.

If problems arise during the process, it is recommended to:
– call the PrivatBank hotline: 3700 (free from a mobile) .
– or go to any branch with your passport and identification code and ask an employee to help update the information in the system.
They also advise not to postpone updating data, remind relatives of the need to do this, and beware of fraud, since PrivatBank never asks to update data via SMS or a link in Viber or Telegram.
As “FACTY” previously wrote, the Pension Fund recently announced a new way to defraud pensioners.
