60 thousand dollars for an “odnushka”: where are the highest prices for apartments in Ukraine

Back in the summer, it became clear that Kyiv is not the leader in the Ukrainian real estate market – the capital's housing has lost priority in terms of price to the regions of western Ukraine. In the fall, the situation has hardly changed – the leaders, as before, are the western regions, where a 1-room apartment on the secondary market can cost up to $60,000, which is only slightly below the capital's prices.

VIDEO OF THE DAY

This is evidenced by data from the real estate portal “Lun”, according to which the price of a 1-room apartment is about 65 thousand dollars or +3% over the last 6 months. Lviv and Uzhhorod have come close to the capital's indicators.

Thus, according to analysts, over the past 6 months the average price for a 1-room apartment in Lviv fell by 1% to $64,500, and in Uzhhorod it fell even more noticeably – by 8% to $59,200. Thus, before the price drop, the cost of “one-room apartments” in both regions was approximately at the level of the capital’s $65,000.

At the same time, prices in Ternopil and Odessa have increased most noticeably — by 13%, in 6 months, where 1-room apartments cost $41,300 and $44,600, respectively. The cheapest — only $14,000 — is a one-room apartment in front-line Kherson, while such an apartment in Zaporizhia costs a little more — $16,000.

To earn money for your apartment (if you don't spend your salary), you will have to work the least in Kherson — only 2.4 years, for Kyiv it will be 7.5 years, and in Lviv and Uzhhorod 8.1 years each.

The most expensive place to rent housing in Ukraine remains Odesa – here you will have to pay more than 13 thousand hryvnias per month for a 1-room apartment.
