Synektik specializes in robotic solutions for healthcare. It is the exclusive distributor of da Vinci systems (produced by Intuitive Surgical) and Symani robotic systems for micro- and super-microsurgery (produced by Medical Microinstruments) for Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and the Baltic countries.

On June 30, 2025, investors decided to sell the securities. After 1:00 p.m., with a turnover of PLN 7.157 million, the rate loses almost 13%. The average turnover over the last 12 months has fluctuated around PLN 4 million per session.

The catalyst for the declines was information about the appearance on the Polish market of competitors from China, whose solutions are much cheaper than those currently offered.

The first contract for the sale and installation of the MP1000 robot has already been signed. We will provide more details in the near future. Three robots are currently on their way to Poland, as the next contracts are close to being finalized – says Dariusz Kolber, vice president of the board of Meden-Inmed, the Polish distributor of the Chinese company Edge Medical, which produces MP1000 column robots, quoted by the mzdrowie.pl portal.

– MP1000 is a column robot, similar to da Vinci systems. It seems to me that this type of robot will continue to dominate the market. Edge Medical is an engineering, creative company, the currently proposed system contains about 400 patents for various technological solutions. So it is not a copy, but rather a solution within a proven and dominant concept. The production plant and headquarters of Edge Medical are located in Shenzhen, in the “silicon valley” of China – adds Kolber.

Our base estimates assume prices that are approximately 30 percent lower than those of our main competitor, of course depending on the specific system and contract – noted the vice-president of the management board of Meden-Inmed.

Comment by Synektik SA

We operate in a dynamically developing medical technology industry and competition is a natural element of the development of this market – it was, is and will be – this is nothing new for a company with almost 25 years of experience, such as Synektik. Products from several manufacturers have been offered on the Polish market for many years, including very recognizable global brands.
However, it is Synektik with Da Vinci robots that has the widest range of surgical robotics systems on the market (5 different robot models). Soon we will introduce the so-called V generation robots to the offer, where Synektik will be their first distributor in Europe. We provide comprehensive service, training and full support for users, which is very important from the point of view of patient safety and ensuring the continuity of functioning of departments using medical robots.

We also meet all the requirements required in tender specifications announced by public entities organizing the purchase of robotic systems. Synektik operates not only in Poland, but we also serve the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

In the first half of the financial year (ended March 31), we completed 12 deliveries. At the end of March 2025, we had 100 robotic systems under our care. According to the information already provided, in the period from April to June, we are in the process of implementing another 6 contracts for the delivery of robotic systems. We are also constantly taking part in new tender procedures.

The trust we have built among our customers over the years remains for us the best proof of the effectiveness of our strategy.

Cezary Kozanecki, President of the Management Board of Synektik SA
