He carded a final round of 65 to end on 9-under-par at Royal Troon.
The Claret Jug is his second major title this season following victory in the PGA Championship.

The Australian clinched his maiden race victory ahead of McLaren teammate Lando Norris – who started on pole.

Tour de France
Tadej Pogacar is set to clinch his third Tour de France this afternoon.
