Rio Ngoumohla is aiming to become a regular member of the Liverpool first team this season.
Despite spending around £300m on new players this transfer window, it has been Rio Ngoumohna who has been the star of Liverpool's pre-season.
Three goals, including two superb individual strikes, and two more assists during the Reds' preparation for the new season showed his extraordinary talent, which has already made a significant impression on the club's fans.

How Liverpool convinced a youngster to move north
Ngoumohha, who was born in Newham, east London, joined Chelsea aged eight. The England youth international quickly progressed through the ranks in west London, making his debut for the club's under-21s aged just 15.
However, Ngoumohna has committed to joining Liverpool in the summer of 2024 after the Reds did everything they could to persuade him to move to Merseyside, with former Chelsea captain John Terry, who helped set up the Blues' academy, predicting he would become a “top class player”.
Ngoumohu is reportedly attracted by the proven path from Liverpool's youth ranks to the first team, something seen on numerous occasions under previous manager Jurgen Klopp, while Slot has also shown a willingness to give youngsters a chance since replacing the German at Anfield last summer.
The Reds' Records
Having started out for Liverpool's U18s, Ngoumohha quickly rose through the ranks following his move north.
Slott believed that Ngoumohye would benefit greatly from learning from the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah as he would understand what it takes to be ready to perform every three days at the highest level.
As a result, Ngoumohla was on the bench when Liverpool travelled to Southampton for the League Cup last December and then became the youngest Reds player to start a competitive game when Accrington Stanley visited Anfield in the FA Cup third round in January.
Since making his debut earlier this year, the player has split his training time between the Academy and the first team.
