Rasheedat Adeleke has been named in the Irish national team for the World Athletics Relays in Guangzhou, China.
The event takes place next month and Adeleke's participation will be a major boost for Ireland.
Adeleke played a key role in securing Ireland's participation in the women's 4x400m relay and mixed 4x400m relay at the Paris Olympics last year.
The Irish Times reports that the Tallaght athlete will be joined by three other Irish Olympians: Charlene Mawdsley, Sophie Becker and Phil Healy.
The two-day competition will take place on May 10 and 11, with the top 14 teams in each discipline automatically qualifying for the World Championships.
