Senior analyst Jamie Lynch looks ahead to week three of the Racing League at Chepstow and picks the best bets for the event, which will be shown live on Sky Sports Racing.

5.30 – Racing League 15 Handicap (Class 3) (3yrs and up) 6f

In the opening week's six furlong race at Yarmouth, the leading mare Tiger Tulip beat the field to Tuco Salamanca, trained by Ollie Sangster, who this time fielded Profit Refused , a filly who had improved and quickened in her first season with the stable (still not quite six furlongs).

Northern Spirit and JUAN LES PINS finished third and fifth respectively in a 22-horse field at York two weeks ago, the latter doing particularly well from 22nd onwards, with the first four finishing 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th.

He's ready to strike, although the first stall puts him on the far flank, next to Thunder Blue , who won the Racing League race at Wolves last year (from a 2lb mark higher) and is looking wide for the first time since 2023.

6.00 – Racing League 16, Handicap (Class 4) (3 years and up) 1m

If it does become a money chase, however, then exceeding Ireland's target will be crucial given his experience on shorter trips and his failure to make a clear difference in Galway last week.

Apart from his last wage bill (0-105), Barley has previously been in excellent form playing for the second team at York (probably Archivist) and Ripon, and the fact that he has coped so well with the rough edges of Ripon bodes well for him at Chepstow.

7.30am – Racing League 19 Handicap (Class 4) (3yrs and up) 5f

The heat is on fast. Our Planet and Roach Power are the clear frontrunners, and when the second wave of speed comes from King Of Bears , Jacquelina and So Smart , we can be sure to see plenty of red in the live colour sectional races on Sky Sports Racing.

Firstly, BILLIE B QUICK will be rubbing her hands in anticipation. At just three years old, her trajectory is rising rapidly and, judging by her recent performances at home in Ireland, she is simply dreaming of it, she just needs more luck than she had last time out at the Curragh when she encountered traffic and difficulties.

JAMIE LYNCH'S BEST BETS

JUAN LES PINS (5.30) – He's been knocking at the door a lot lately, but he's not exactly a winner, but he's got a slim chance of winning and he'll be racing confidently to the finish line in what could be a very successful race.

BARLEY (6.00) – In the winningest race of the evening, he was never expected to command a double-figure price as he is in good form now and has had excellent form this summer.

BILLY, BEE FASTER (7.30) The faster they dance, the better she will perform, and that can only influence her decision, given the rapid pace of the line-up.
