Joseph Parker will face Fabio Wardley at London's O2 Arena on October 25.
Wardley, the WBA heavyweight champion, last fought a tough fight against Justice Huni, winning by knockout in the 10th round.
The only blemish on his unbeaten record is a 12-round draw with Fraser Clarke in their memorable British heavyweight title fight last year. Wardley evened the score with a first-round knockout in their October rematch.

The Ipswich boxer has won 18 of his 19 victories inside the distance and will take another step up in class from Parker, who has 36 wins and three losses, with the winner set to have a strong chance of a world title shot.

Parker is a former world champion who has fought Anthony Joshua, Dillian Whyte and Dereck Chisora during his long career. The New Zealander recently scored convincing wins over Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang.
He was scheduled to challenge Daniel Dubois for the IBF heavyweight title in February, but after Dubois pulled out of the fight two days before due to illness, Parker knocked out replacement Martin Bakole, whom he was to recognize at the last minute.
The affable New Zealander, who holds the WBO interim title, has been named the mandatory challenger for undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.
However, Usyk requested an extension to negotiations due to injury, and with terms yet to be agreed and Usyk not expected to box this year, Parker has turned his attention to the Wardley fight.
