Harry Kane has paid tribute to his former Tottenham teammate Son Heung-min following his move to Los Angeles FC.
Son completed his move to the Major League Soccer club on Wednesday in a deal worth more than £20million, ending a decade-long stay in north London.
The 33-year-old's move comes after he announced his departure from Tottenham on Saturday, where he scored 173 goals in 454 appearances and captained the side to the Europa League title in May.
Son joins Kane as another Tottenham player to end a long-term partnership with the club after the England striker left his boyhood side to sign for Bayern Munich in 2023.
The pair have enjoyed considerable success together since Son's move from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015, with the duo scoring a combined 47 goals to become the highest scoring duo in Premier League history.
Kane paid tribute to his former teammate on social media, calling Son “one of the best people” in football.
“Sonny, Sonny, Sonny. What can I say. We've had so many magical moments over the years, both on and off the pitch,” Kane wrote.
“As a person and a player, you deserve all the success you've had. You're one of the best people in this sport.
“It was such a pleasure to see you lift the trophy last season and I am sure you will have great success in your new endeavours. See you soon.”
