GAA preview: Club championship finals, intercountry clashes

There’s a big weekend of GAA action for hurling and football fans to look forward to.

Wexford face a huge task in the O’Byrne Cup semi-final as they face All-Ireland champions Dublin in Parnell Park on Saturday.

In Munster football, there are Round 3 McGrath Cup fixtures on Sunday.

There are also some big club games, with intermediate and junior hurling and football finals taking place over the weekend.

One big fixtures will see Castlelyons (Cork) and Thomastown (Kilkenny) square up in the All-Ireland Hurling Intermediate Club Championship final on Saturday.

The action starts with a clash between ATU Sligo and St Mary’s in the Sigerson Cup at 8pm on Thursday evening.

London v Roscommon, 7pm, semi-final

Castlelyons v Thomastown, 7pm, All-Ireland Hurling Intermediate Club Championship final

Sunday, January 14th

Tipperary v Limerick, 2pm McGrath Cup, Round 3

Cork v Waterford, 2pm, McGrath Cup, Round 3

Arva v Listowel Emmets, 1.30pm, All-Ireland Football Junior Club Championship final

Cill na Martra v St Patrick’s, 3.30pm, All-Ireland Football Intermediate Club Championship final
