Sky Sports will have all bases covered throughout winter testing when the pre-season action begins in Barcelona on Monday.
The four-day meeting marks F1’s official return to action and the end of the sport’s three-month hiatus.
The test will also see the new-for-2018 cars on track for the first time, with all 10 teams in attendance at the Circuit de Catalunya.
The Sky Sports team will be providing a live commentary service of around-the-clock updates of the test across Sky’s Digital platforms. And then, after the chequered flag has fallen, the action from every day of track running will be reviewed and dissected on the Sky F1 channel on Paddock Uncut and Ted’s Notebook.
Live commentary from dawn to dusk
As ever, the Sky Sports Digital team will be hosting a live blog of every day of the test from dawn to dusk – and if you want to get involved, just join the conversation using the #SkyF1 hashtag.

The return of Ted’s Notebook
F1 winter testing wouldn’t be F1 winter testing without the appearance of Ted’s Notebook. So it’s just as well then that Ted Kravitz will be in attendance in Barcelona for all eight days of testing – the second and final winter test, also to be held at Barcelona, will start on March 6.
The Notebook will first be broadcast at 9.15pm after every day of the test, starting from February 26.
The programme will be part of a 45-minute review of each day’s action, following hot on the heels of 9pm’s Paddock Uncut – the nightly round-up show hosted by Craig Slater which will bring you the best of the latest insight and interviews from the paddock.
