Everton have completed the signing of 19-year-old forward Tyler Dibling from Southampton on a four-year deal.
The footballer became David Moyes' eighth signing of the summer transfer window. With an estimated value of £42m, the club's total spending during the period exceeded the £100m mark.
Dibling made his first appearance for Southampton at the age of 17 (2023) and played 33 Premier League matches last season.
In an interview with evertontv he said: “I'm really looking forward to signing the deal. Even before I visited the office I was already immersed in the spirit of the club through social media and the stories that are told about it.
“I've never felt such enthusiasm before a game. I'm ready to get involved immediately.
“I believe that this is the best choice given the team's current ambitions. The new stadium, amazing fans and special family atmosphere created a perfect symbiosis. The decision to move was the only right one.”
