Juventus are eyeing a stunning move for Cristiano Ronaldo. The Real Madrid forward’s agent Jorge Mendes is said to be working on a deal that would bring the 33-year-old to Turin. Ronaldo is once again being linked with a move away from the Spanish capital this summer following Zinedine Zidane’s shock resignation. Mendes was pivotal in securing Joao Cancelo’s move to Juve from Valencia this summer. (Tuttosport)
Inter Milan are free to sign Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele after raising money through the sales of other players. The Nerazzurri have let 12 players go already this summer, and although they signed Radja Nainggolan from Roma, they are intent on further bolstering their midfield with the Belgium international. Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is unsure about signing Mario Balotelli. The former Manchester City striker is available after leaving Nice and, despite efforts from his agent Mino Raiola, a move to Naples is far from a done deal as De Laurentiis does not regard him as a reliable player. Roma are weighing up a shock move for Napoli forward Dries Mertens. The Belgium international has been in excellent form for the Partenopei over the last two seasons but the Giallorossi are keen on pairing the 31-year-old with Edin Dzeko in attack. (La Repubblica)
Barcelona have joined the race to sign Manchester United transfer target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio. The highly-rated Serbian midfielder is one of the hottest properties in European football, having also attracted interest from Juventus, and is rated £120m by his club. However, Barcelona may tempt the Serie A side into a deal by offering Rafinha as a makeweight. (La Repubblica)

Paris Saint-Germain are ready to battle Manchester United for Leonardo Bonucci’s signature. The Italian centre-half moved to AC Milan from Juventus last summer in a shock deal but the Rossoneri’s current financial problems mean they may have to part company with the 31-year-old. United boss Jose Mourinho is said to be keen on pursuing a deal, PSG believe they can tempt Bonucci to the French capital with an eye-popping salary and the chance to be reunited with Gianluigi Buffon. One player who could be on his way out of the Parc des Princes, however, is Adrien Rabiot. The 23-year-old midfielder has reportedly met with Juventus, Barcelona, Manchester City and Manchester United over a potential move. Rabiot, who was controversially excluded from France’s World Cup squad, has one year left on his contract at PSG but has yet to receive assurances from new head coach Thomas Tuchel over regular playing time next season. Argentina boss Jorge Sampaoli insists he has no intention of quitting despite their World Cup exit at the hands of France on Saturday. The South Americans were eliminated following a chaotic 4-3 defeat to Les Bleus, but the former Chile boss says he is not considering ‘stepping aside’ despite having come under fire for his tactics and team selection throughout the tournament. Barcelona remain interested in Chelsea winger Willian amid reports the La Liga champions had a sizeable bid rejected by the Premier League club. The Brazil international is seen as an attractive alternative to Antoine Griezmann following the Frenchman’s decision to stay at Atletico Madrid. AC Milan winger Suso has reportedly been offered to Real Madrid. The Rossoneri need to offload players because of Financial Fair Play violations and have made the 24-year-old former Liverpool midfielder available for transfer. (Marca)
Napoli manager Carlo Ancelotti is keen on signing Bayern Munich duo Jerome Boateng and Arturo Vidal. Both players are thought to on their way out of the Bundesliga club this summer and could be tempted into reuniting with Ancelotti in Naples. (AS)
