Arsenal attacking midfielder Ethan Nwaneri has signed a new five-year contract running until 2030.
Last season, when he was a revelation for the Gunners, the 18-year-old scored nine goals in 37 games.
He then helped England's Under-21 side defend their European Championship title.
“It means everything to me, I'm so happy we were able to make it happen,” Nwaneri told Arsenal's website.
“I feel at home here and this is where I can reach my full potential.
“I'm really excited. I feel like this is my first real season and being part of a real team in the locker room. I'm excited about what I can offer the team and how I can support them.”
Nwaneri became the youngest player in Premier League history in September 2022, coming on as a substitute in Arsenal's 3-0 win over Brentford, aged 15 years and 181 days.
He made another cameo appearance the following season – in a 6-0 win against West Ham – before becoming a regular last season.
The academy graduate scored his first professional goals with a brace in the Gunners' 5-1 League Cup win over Bolton Wanderers last September.
In the 2024–25 season, he started 11 of the club's 26 top-flight matches, scoring four goals, and also found the net twice in seven Champions League appearances.
Arsenal kick off the new Premier League season on Sunday, August 17, away to Manchester United.
