Arsenal have signed Shamrock Rovers midfielder Victor Ojianwuna for a record fee in Irish football – €2 million.
The 16-year-old will move to North London in January 2027. Under Brexit regulations, Irish athletes cannot join British teams until they reach the age of majority.
The Republic of Ireland U17 product has already made his debut for the Rovers senior team and his exceptional abilities have attracted interest from several leading European clubs.
