Trump just blocked his own administration’s Russia sanctions

It seems that President trump just blocked the plan of his administration on sanctions Russia.

Nikki Haley, the us Ambassador to the UN, announced on Sunday that trump the administration is going to hit Russia with new sanctions on Monday over its support of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s chemical weapons program after April 7, the chemical attack in Douma, Syria, which killed dozens of people. The sanctions were clearly focused on Russian companies, which deal in equipment related to the program of chemical weapons by Assad.

But just a day later, the White house retreated from spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that the administration “is considering additional sanctions on Russia” and that “the decision will be made in the near future.”

So why the awkward turn? Obviously, the President trump was not on Board with sanctions.

According to the Washington post, after Haley announced sanctions on the CBS face the nation Sunday morning, trump told the national security team, he was “upset the sanctions were officially stopped, because it was not comfortable to perform them.”

It is not clear whether Haley just mistakenly announced the sanctions prematurely, before the President officially signed them, or if something else went wrong.

But two things are clear: the administration has once again lost the deployment of quite a simple policy, and trump is personally taking steps to ensure that he does not anger Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Russian official representative of the Ministry of foreign Affairs said Monday that the administration trump contacted the Russian Embassy on Sunday and told them that the sanctions that Haley was not.

Trump is constantly fighting his own Administration on Russia

Democrats swiftly panned the White house for the retreat. “Reversal is striking. Either Pres. Trump I don’t think we need more action, or they can’t handle a simple ad rollout,” Senator Bob Menendez (Democrat, new Jersey) tweeted on Monday Afternoon. “Mr. President, get your act together. What’s the strategy?”

But there are indications that the decision by trump to refrain from sanctions Russia can be repayment. On Monday, Russia announced that the postponement of a vote in Parliament on a plan to restrict U.S. imports.

This is not the first time trump seemed to be at odds or out of touch with the rest of his administration is in the policy of Russia. Trump reportedly was angry because his administration eventually expelling 60 Russian diplomats in response to the poisoning of Russian ex-spy Sergei Skripal on British soil on March 4.

Trump apparently thought that we were in accordance with the number of diplomats that other U.S. allies have been exceptions, but it turned out that the expulsion of the US dwarfs the numbers of any other country.

When administration officials explained to him that we had a comparison of the total number of expulsions from all other countries combined, trump apparently exploded and said that he was misled.

“There were obscene words,” the administration official told the newspaper “Washington post”. “A lot of bad words”.
