The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, referring to intelligence from allied nations, announced that Russia's “peaceful” stance has also started to “filter through” certain “individuals from Ukraine.” Nevertheless, he refrained from specifying those to whom he alluded.

However, the president addressed these individuals, reminding them that holding our nation's passport requires one to “feel accountable” for it.

“There are guidelines for the Ukrainian delegation, there is a Ukrainian direction that the delegation is pursuing, and I would sincerely wish that there would be no conflicting signals, no non-Ukrainian signals emanating from Ukraine,” the president stated. “Currently, I am informed that our partners’ intelligence services are providing data indicating that the Russian viewpoint is being adopted, including by some actors from Ukraine. This certainly does not assist.”

He emphasized that it is currently crucial to bolster, rather than undermine, our nation's position and Ukrainian honor.

As a reminder, on November 23, the Ukrainian and American teams in Geneva reached an agreement on an updated framework document for peace negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow. The ultimate decision rests with Presidents Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump. They are anticipated to finalize it during the Ukrainian leader's visit to Washington, which is currently in preparation. Meanwhile, Secretary of State Marco Rubio has wisely suggested that the conditions for signing the agreement may change.
