Ukraine has added Timur Mindich and Oleksandr Zukerman, central figures in the “Midas” affair, to its list of wanted individuals on suspicion of engaging in acts of corruption.
This information has been made public via the Ministry of Internal Affairs database.
Information regarding the suspects is visible within the “Person evading preliminary investigation” section. The date of disappearance for both men is listed as November 20, 2025.
These individuals are being sought for allegedly committing corruption-related offenses: purportedly, under the pretense of holding official positions, they illicitly transferred tens of millions of dollars, draining funds from the accounts of Energoatom, the Ukrainian nuclear energy company.
To recap, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has formally requested specific documents from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) related to the significant corruption probe in the energy sector, known as Operation Midas. This was divulged by a knowledgeable informant within the bureau.
It is emphasized that the SBU's request pertains to the submission of documents that could encompass critical intelligence for validating allegations of state betrayal connected to these investigations.
The NABU indicated that they are presently examining the SBU's request and are prepared to supply pertinent documents.
