Less than 24 hours prior to a judicial mandate requiring the removal of President Donald Trump’s designation from the Kennedy Center, the Department of Justice lodged a notice of appeal to contest the decision that deemed his endeavor to rename and shutter the performing arts institution for extensive refurbishments unlawful.
A fortnight ago, U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper granted the Trump administration a 14-day period to eliminate all mentions of the “Donald J. Trump and John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts” and “Trump Kennedy Center” from the premises and its digital presence, including the center’s website.
This is an evolving situation. Kindly return for further details.
