The Ukrainian leader, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, revealed a “landmark accord” with France aimed at fortifying Ukraine’s air power on Sunday, November 16, while traveling to Greece.
“Our military aviation, our aerial defense, and other defense capacities will experience a considerable boost. Based on the schedule for the trip, it will occur on Monday. This is instrumental in assisting Ukraine in defending itself and in fulfilling our ambitions, our objectives,” the president stated.
He also mentioned that a visit to Spain is slated for Tuesday, anticipating it to “be fruitful” as well.
“At present, our key priorities are air defense, systems, and missiles for air defense. Furthermore, following each Russian attack, we guarantee the reconstitution of our forces. It’s challenging, but we are managing. Additionally, there’s our resilience and our readiness for the winter season,” Zelenskyy pointed out.
Currently, the president is already in Greece. As he indicated, discussions will take place there regarding a pact between Athens and Kyiv concerning gas deliveries.
