Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy underscored the necessity of tight collaboration with the U.S. and partners within the “determined coalition” to cease the conflict and oppose Russian hostility. He voiced this statement at a news briefing following the coalition assembly in London.

“We have no intention of exploring avenues to conclude the war excluding the United States. Our method involves synchronized and firm action in unison,” Zelenskyy asserted.

The President pointed out that Russia aims to fragment Ukraine and its associates, to diminish their solidarity. Among the countermeasures are sanctioning efforts, specifically the 19th package of sanctions directed at the Russian Federation, alongside limitations on petroleum and natural gas provision. Zelenskyy highlighted long-distance arms, including SCALP and Storm Shadow drones and rockets from France and the UK, and ATACMS supplied by America, as a crucial element of Ukraine’s defensive capabilities.

Addressing air defense, the president recognized the contribution of collaborators who furnished Patriot systems to Ukraine, and articulated optimism for the augmentation of Ukraine’s individual air defense.

“The core of the 'determined coalition' lies in cooperative endeavor. Merely by combining our strengths can we establish dependable security assurances, with the United States playing an instrumental role in this regard,” Zelenskyy appended.

During a gathering on October 24, British PM Keir Starmer exhorted allies to augment the delivery of long-range weaponry to Ukraine prior to winter. French President Emmanuel Macron communicated that further Aster missiles, novel training curricula, and new Mirage warplanes would be conveyed in the upcoming period.
