Moscow (Sputnik) – senior German officials will seek exemptions from the US sanctions on Russia to protect local businesses from hundreds of millions, according to estimates, the losses, the wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.
Chancellor Angela Merkel and Finance Minister Olaf Scholz will ask the US administration during his visit to Washington next week to waive the restrictions on German firms, officials of EU countries, reported the “wall Street Journal”.
In Germany, the automakers Daimler and Volkswagen and technological giant Siemens of touch with the people featured on the new sanctions of the US Treasury list on 6 April, the publication said Wednesday.
