Amazon.ie officially opened its virtual doors on Tuesday morning, giving shoppers in Ireland a huge choice of more than 200 million products.
Customers will be able to enjoy same-day delivery on millions of products, and view products with clear local prices and no additional customs fees.
Irish small and large companies such as Barry's Tea, Bewley's and Ella & Jo will soon be featured on a dedicated Irish Brands page.
The tech and retail giant said Brands of Ireland is part of a partnership with Enterprise Ireland and is designed to help customers discover the Irish brands they love, as well as support local businesses to achieve greater scale and success.
Starting this Tuesday, customers will also be able to sign up for Prime on Amazon.ie for €6.99 a month and enjoy shopping, savings and entertainment deals.
Customers in Ireland who have a UK Prime membership can easily upgrade to a new subscription, while their UK Prime membership will be automatically cancelled and refunded.
All customers, including those switching from a UK subscription, can try Amazon.ie Prime with a 30-day free trial.
