Many Ukrainian pensioners who have reached the age of 70 are concerned about the issue of age-related supplements, which, according to the law, should be accrued automatically, writes “Na pensiyi”.
VIDEO OF THE DAY
Ukrainian legislation provides for monthly age-related pension supplements, which are assigned automatically from the date of birth:
• 70−74 years: up to 300 UAH.
• 75−79 years old: up to 456 UAH.
• 80 years and older: up to 570 UAH.
The supplement does not require a separate application to the Pension Fund. If the pensioner reaches the age of majority in the middle of the month (for example, August 20), the payment for the first month is calculated proportionally for the remaining days.

The main reason why a pensioner may not receive an age supplement is that the total amount of the pension exceeds UAH 10,340.35. If the sum of all payments (including supplements) exceeds UAH 10,340.35, the supplement is not established.
What to do if the surcharge does not arrive

1. Remember that the allowance is calculated automatically.
2. If you have any doubts about the correctness of the calculation, you should contact the Pension Fund in writing and request an official calculation of your pension. This will allow you to check whether the age supplement is already included in the basic amount or whether an error has been made.
