The Ukrainian team, during their trip to the White House, provided US President Donald Trump with charts displaying exposed facilities within the Russian defense sector. The conversation encompassed potential deliveries of Tomahawk missiles, bolstering aerial defense systems, and issues related to energy stability.
Per a source at “Sospilny” within the Ukrainian party, the charts “explicitly pinpointed vital assets and fragile aspects of the Russian military’s economy,” which “could be leveraged to compel Putin to halt the conflict.” The informant omitted specifying the inventory of assets or technological specifications of the charts.
Accompanying President Volodymyr Zelensky upon arrival at the White House were Chief of Staff Andriy Yermak, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov, Minister of Energy Svitlana Hrynchuk, and Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Olha Stefanishyna. The discussions allegedly centered on Ukraine’s extended-range abilities, reinforcing air defenses and eliminating significant adversary infrastructure, including the prospect of subsequent dialogue with Russia.
It is worth noting that Trump mentioned maintaining contact with Zelensky during his anticipated conference with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, slated to occur in Budapest.
