During January-September 2025, Ukraine’s bus inventory expanded by 1,888 units, marking an increase of 33% relative to the analogous timeframe of the preceding year.

Within this overall volume, 935 were fresh acquisitions (showing a 16% rise), while 953 were pre-owned (indicating a 56% surge). The percentage of novel vehicles constituted 58% in September, whereas the prior year saw this proportion at 63%.
Noteworthy brands among the recently acquired buses, undergoing initial registration predominantly in September, comprised:
- Zaz – 38 vehicles;
- Ataman – 29 vehicles;
- Etalon – 19 vehicles.
The ensuing trademarks emerged as the foremost sought-after in the realm of second-hand buses:
- Mercedes-Benz – 49 vehicles;
- Vdl – 8 vehicles;
- Van Hool – 8 vehicles.
As an additional detail, it’s worth noting that throughout August 2025, Ukraine’s bus collection augmented by 259 newly introduced and previously operated buses. This signifies a 61% escalation compared to August of the year prior.
