From January to September of 2025, Ukrainian citizens acquired 14,684 units of automobiles for passengers, which were brought in from China. This figure shows an increase of 27% in comparison with the equivalent timeframe in 2024.

It’s worth noting that, of the total number of fresh vehicles, 12,064 (+39%) were brand new, while 2,620 (-8%) were previously owned.
According to expert evaluations, the vast majority of these Chinese passenger cars were electric-powered – specifically, 87%.

- BYD Song Plus – 2014 items
- Volkswagen ID.Unyx – 1599 items.
- Honda eNS1 – 992 items.
- Zeekr 7X – 726 items.
- BYD Sea Lion 07 – 618 items.
The most demanded models of second-hand cars originating from China:
- Zeekr 001 – 263 items.
- Zeekr 7X – 143 items.
- Polestar 2 – 138 items.
- BYD Song Plus – 135 items.
- Audi Q4 – 134 items.
Auto Market
In September 2025, the Ukrainian market experienced a peak in new passenger car sales over the past year. During the specified month, over 6.8 thousand new automobiles were sold.
This represents a 20% increase from September 2024, and a 1% rise from August 2025.
For the first time in September 2025, the electric crossover Volkswagen ID.Unyx emerged as the most sought-after new passenger car in Ukraine, with 432 units being acquired by Ukrainian buyers.
