President Donald Trump is still in "outstanding condition," according to his doctor following a "thorough follow-up assessment" the president had at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Friday as a component of his "current wellness program."
The update was contained in a communication from Dr. Sean Barbarella, the presidential physician, which was disseminated Friday evening.
The appointment encompassed sophisticated imaging, laboratory analysis, and preventative assessments administered by a group of specialists, according to the communication.

"These evaluations were carried out in conjunction with prominent academic and medical advisors to secure the best possible heart health and ongoing well-being," the doctor penned.
During the summer months, the White House disclosed that Trump received a diagnosis of chronic venous insufficiency, subsequent to observations of significant contusions on his hand and inflated lower extremities.
Chronic venous insufficiency is typical among more seasoned individuals. Standard care might involve utilizing compression hosiery, raising the legs, or simple interventions on the affected veins, or surgical solutions in more serious instances.
The dispatch on Friday had no new data on the vein status.
"President Trump is still showing superb general health," Barbarella noted in the dispatch. "His cardiac age-a confirmed gauge of cardiovascular strength derived via ECG-was discovered to be nearly 14 years below his actual age. He consistently manages a busy daily agenda with no limitations."
The physician also conveyed that Trump was administered an influenza vaccine and refreshed COVID-19 booster immunizations in anticipation of forthcoming overseas journeys.
The communication concluded: "President Donald J. Trump continues to be in exceptional condition, demonstrating robust cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological, and physical capability."
Addressing reporters on Thursday, Trump indicated that he would be visiting Walter Reed for what he described as a "bi-annual checkup."
The Friday visit transpired approximately six months following his preceding checkup, also at Walter Reed.
In a declaration on Wednesday, White House press official Karoline Leavitt mentioned that Trump would make an appearance at Walter Reed, just outside Washington, D.C., in Bethesda, Maryland, "for a scheduled meeting and remarks with the troops" and during that time he would "swing by for his regular yearly physical."
Talking on Thursday, Trump said that he felt in optimal form.
"I like to check, always early, always be early," Trump articulated. "It's an educational point for a multitude of people."
He further expressed, "I consider myself in excellent condition, but I'll keep you advised. … Physically, I’m feeling really well. Mentally, I’m feeling really well."
Following his previous physical in the spring period, Trump vaunted about his achievement on an intellectual evaluation, conveying that he "answered every question correctly."
