Something new and dangerous is happening in the skies of Europe, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen told the European Parliament on October 8. In the past two weeks alone, fighter jets and drones have violated the airspace of Estonia, Belgium, Poland, Romania, Denmark, Norway and Germany.

“It's time to call a spade a spade, this is hybrid warfare. This is a deliberate, targeted 'gray' campaign against Europe,” von der Leyen said, blaming Russia.
